This comprehensive hands-on instructional course details the fundamental cosmetic applications and techniques of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. This course is offered to beginners with less than six months experience working with neurotoxins (BoNTA) or dermal filler products and who have a desire to expand their skills to better their aesthetic practice. The course begins with a lecture in the morning followed by hands-on injections with live models in the afternoon. Upon completion, all participants will receive 8.5 CME credits and a certificate of course completion, along with access to the AAI exclusive online Facial Anatomy Lab 101. This private symposium by Tanya Patron, PA-C will show you the latest techniques to achieve a balanced contour to help your patients look great from any angle. This will include injecting the nose, chin, and jawline. This CME-approved course will also include review of anatomy and contraindications, individual patient assessment, and how to provide natural results with easy tips and tricks to use in your own practice. During this four-hour course led by Jen Puleo, ARN, MPH attendees will be educated on the assessment and injection techniques of utilizing fillers in various non-facial areas. From horizontal neck lines to creating an enviable backside, be prepared to learn when and how to inject everything but the face. You must be licensed in the state of Florida in order to participate in the hands-on portion of this course. This course is limited to 15 people.

This CME/CE facial cadaver gross anatomy lab will provide a thorough review of facial tissues and muscles coupled with a live dissection of a cadaver head. Attendees will be guided by faculty to identify the key facial landmarks used for locating the areas most appropriate for injecting neurotoxins and dermal fillers in the face. After a review of facial anatomy, attendees will be able to participate at their own cadaver station in a hands-environment with their small groups. This course is limited to 21 participants. Each cadaver station will have 3 participants working together so that each attendee will have the opportunity to dissect and inject on the cadaver.
