This comprehensive, full-day instructional course details the advanced cosmetic applications and techniques of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. The course begins with a lecture in the morning session, followed by hands-on injections of live models in the afternoon. A MINIMUM of 6+ months CONSISTENT experience injecting both neurotoxins and dermal fillers is required in order to attend. Participants will receive a comprehensive course manual, laminated reference guides, free access to AAI’s Online Facial Anatomy Lab 101, a certificate of course completion, and 8.5 CME/CE credits. Thanks to an educational grant from Allergan, the course is being discounted to $950 per person and the products for injection will be provided. Allergan's Anatomical Exploration in Dissection Lab will provide a thorough review of facial tissues and muscles coupled with live dissections during a cadaver anatomy session. Attendees will be guided by faculty to identify the key facial landmarks used for locating the areas most appropriate for injecting neurotoxins and dermal fillers in the face. Due to the support of Allergan Aesthetics, this cadaver anatomy lab will be offered complimentary to the first 50 AES attendees that sign up. You must be signed up for AES to attend this course. This hands-on workshop led by Ilanit Samuels, PA-C will provide a comprehensive approach to Poly-L-Lactic Acid for those who are new to this innovative product. During this beginner’s workshop, faculty will share pearls on PLLA and demonstrate safe techniques including a 7 step approach to full face rejuvenation using PLLA. The workshop will include overview and live demonstrations of proper reconstitution and a live injection demonstration. Attendees will leave the course with an understanding of PLLA and where to most efficaciously inject for optimal outcomes.

Now, 20 years and 5 brands later, we are finally understanding it's diversity in our industry. This hands-on workshop led by Steven Harris, MB BCh, MBCAM, MSc will provide attendees with training on the novel technique of utilizing high-definition hand-held ultrasound devices in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Harris will demonstrate how to use ultrasound technology to visualize the important anatomical structures of the face in real time. These include the vascular system (vascular mapping) as well as the different layers of the face to allow safer and more effective injections. During this course attendees will utilize both injectable products and hand-held ultrasound technology with the aim of employing it in your own clinical practice.

This hands-on workshop will focus on understanding the why and where of cannula technique for facial rejuvenation, from a new learner perspective. Tricks and tips on successful adoption of cannula technique will be covered and demonstrated.
Let's have a conversation about how and why cannulas are often considered the “go-to” and “safer” technique in facial rejuvenation. If you have never used a cannula, this hands-on course will walk you step by step through the easiest approach for adopting this technique in your practice. This is a beginner course meant for the injector who has limited experience on how to use the cannula in the cheek, marionette, and perioral areas. Cannula length, portal entry and techniques will be explored and demonstrated. It’s often a technique that is frustrating for a beginner; however, with simple step by step instruction, the technique is rewarding for both the patient and injector.

This hands-on workshop will focus on optimizing port entry to address full face rejuvenation, from a seasoned injector perspective. Superficial injection of hyaluronic acid-based fillers will be demonstrated for full face rejuvenation.

This hands-on training workshop will teach attendees all about angles and profiles using CaHa to contour the jawline with the goal of achieving full facial balancing. The workshop will first review facial anatomy as well as an introduction to CaHa including current indications as well as the most recent indication for contouring the jawline. Expert injectors will then walk through a patient assessment during a live demonstration focusing on teaching a comfortable technique for both the injector and the patient and a review of CaHa and tips on how to provide natural results for ultimate patient satisfaction.
